About NITISI

NITISI is building a new category in wellness and apparel: Bioactive Wellness Wear. We combine advanced textile innovation, wellness science, sustainability, and luxury design to create garments that actively support everyday wellbeing. Our mission is to redefine what clothing can do and build a globally recognised category from the UK. We are pre-revenue and building deliberately. Our founding collection spans ten SKUs across menswear and womenswear, launching initially across a range of premium natural fabrications — with the material palette expanding as the brand grows. We are backed by early investors, in active fundraise, and preparing for commercial launch. NITISI was a UK Startup Awards finalist 2026.

The opportunity

This is not a mood-board role. We are looking for someone who understands luxury fashion at the deepest level — who can translate a creative vision into an exceptional finished garment, and who is excited by the opportunity to help build a category-defining brand from the ground up. You will work directly with the Founder and Co-Founder on all aspects of creative and technical design — from initial concept and material selection through to tech pack development, sampling, factory communication, and final delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the design concept and seasonal direction for NITISI collections across menswear and womenswear
  • Select and source fabrics, trims, and hardware at luxury level, with deep technical knowledge of how materials perform
  • Produce full technical specification documents (tech packs) that factories can build from precisely
  • Manage sampling rounds with manufacturers across India, Portugal, and other regions — providing structured, clear feedback at every stage
  • Ensure garment construction, fit, and finish meet the brand standard before any SKU progresses to production
  • Work closely with the Founder and Co-Founder to refine and evolve the NITISI aesthetic and brand identity over time
  • Bring runway and market knowledge to the table — staying ahead of what the best contemporary luxury brands are doing and why
  • Support the development of future collections as the brand grows and the SKU range expands

Ideal candidate

  • Experienced in luxury, premium, or contemporary fashion — in-house or freelance, at a brand where exceptional quality was the baseline
  • Full tech pack capability: can produce a complete garment specification that a factory can build from without guessing
  • Deep understanding of a broad range of premium natural and technical fabrics — how they behave technically, not just aesthetically
  • Trim and hardware fluency: elastics, zippers, buttons, finishes at luxury level
  • Hands-on factory communication experience: sampling rounds, structured revision feedback, production coordination
  • Comfortable designing across menswear and womenswear simultaneously

What makes this different

  • Work directly alongside the Founder and Co-Founder with full creative involvement from day one
  • Opportunity to define the aesthetic DNA of a category-defining global brand at its earliest stage
  • Your work will be the product — not filtered through layers of internal approval
  • Significant long-term creative leadership opportunity as the brand scales internationally
  • Direct involvement in product strategy, material innovation direction, and seasonal planning
  • A chance to help shape the future of luxury wellness wear — a category that does not yet exist at this level

The selection process

  • Stage 1 — Portfolio & Inspiration Board: Share your portfolio alongside a curation of 6–10 existing garments or looks from any brand that represent the NITISI direction, with two sentences per piece explaining your reasoning
  • Stage 2 — First Interview (30 min): A conversation with the Founder and Co-Founder covering your background, aesthetic sensibility, and approach to the design-to-production journey
  • Stage 3 — Design Brief: Shortlisted candidates receive a focused brief for one NITISI SKU — a sketch or flat, fabric recommendation with reasoning, and trim or construction notes
  • Stage 4 — Final Interview & Offer: Creative review of the brief, long-term vision discussion, and — for the right person — an offer that includes meaningful equity participation as NITISI scales

How to apply

  • Portfolio or relevant work samples (NDA-protected work may be discussed verbally during the interview)
  • LinkedIn profile
  • Inspiration board — 6–10 garments or looks representing the NITISI direction, with a brief note on each
